Issue notice. Mr. Ankur Gupta, learned counsel for the respondent, accepts notice. The petition is taken up for disposal with the consent of learned counsel for the parties.

This is a petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ["the Act"], for extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal, which is in seisin of disputes between the parties under a contract dated 23.11.2012.

The learned Arbitral Tribunal was constituted on 15.03.2021. 4.

The mandate of the Tribunal was extended by an order of this Court dated 12.09.2023 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 382/2023, and is stated to be expiring on 29.02.2024.

Learned counsel for the parties state that the proceedings are at the stage of final arguments of the respondent.

Mr. Gupta states that he has no objection to the petition being allowed.

In view of the aforesaid, and with the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the petition is allowed. The mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of six months, with effect from 29.02.2024.

The petition stands disposed of with these directions.
