Learned counsel for the respondent/MCD submits that appropriate action against the unauthorized construction, referred to in the petition is being taken by the MCD. He submits that the demolition order qua the said unauthorized construction was issued on 20.02.2024. Thereafter a sealing show cause notice is also stated to have been given on 23.02.2024. He submits that further action in accordance with law shall be taken expeditiously and to its logical end.

In view of the aforesaid and considering the non-appearance of the petitioner, the present petition is dismissed in default for non-prosecution.
