Mr. Adrash Ratan Joshi, who claims to be the brother of appellantA.R. Joshi and stood surety for him, states that the appellant has expired on 06.04.2023. He refers to the order dated 24.11.2025 passed by the learned Special Judge, CBI verifying the factum of death of the appellant. He has also handed over copy of the death certificate and his gate-pass, which are taken on record.

It appears that as the notice to the surety was issued on 09.09.2025, the Registry has forwarded the said communication to the learned Special Judge, CBI, who has carried out the requisite exercise by issuing notice to the surety and in those proceedings the surety had appeared with the death certificate, which was subsequently verified. 3.
In view of the aforesaid, the proceedings in the present appeal stands abated and the same is disposed of accordingly.
