The Petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayers: "a) Direct the Respondent No. 5 to decide the visa Application dated 25.01.2024 preferred by the Petitioner;

b) Direct the Respondents to grant the Petitioner tourist visa / regular visa OR IN THE ALTERNATIVE grant her tourist visa / regular visa subject to imposing a fine/penalty upon the Petitioner;

c) Direct the Respondents to provide the Petitioner valid reasons in case of rejection of her visa application;

d) Pass any other Order, direction that this Hon‟ble Court deems fit and proper qua the facts and circumstances of the present Case in the best interest of justice."

communication addressed to him by the Joint Deputy Director, BOI Hqrs, East Block-VIII, R. K. Puram, New Delhi-66. The said communication reads as under:

"Subject: Writ Petition titled Aurelie Lafittee Vs. Union of India and Ors. in the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi.

The present application is filed by Aurelie Lafittee d/o Jean Pierre Lafittee in regards to her Visa Application.

2. It is intimated that a grade „D‟ BL exists against Aurelie Lafittee (French National), at the behest of FRRO Mumbai dated 27.07.2023 for „staying on tourist visa for a period of more than 18 months‟ with retention date 26.07.2023.

3. The above mentioned input/comment of BOI can be used in preparing the affidavit.

4. This is for kind information and filing reply before the Court."

It is stated by the learned Counsel for the Respondents that in view of the aforesaid communication, it is apparent that the Petitioner will get tourist visa as and when she applies after 26.07.2024. The statement is taken on record.
