After some arguments, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition with liberty to avail alternative remedies, including to claim damages. 2.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty. Pending application is also disposed of.

It is clarified that the petitioner would also be at liberty to move an appropriate application for exclusion of the period of delay, on account of the time spent in the petitioner's bonafide endeavours to pursue its remedies by way of the present petition.
