CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 21.01.2019 Respondent nos. 2 to 5, namely, Mr. Shabbir Khan, Mr. Pramod, Mr. Sunny @ Ikrar Ahmad and Mr. Naseem @ Naseem Ahmad are present in Court. They have been identified by SI Islamuddin of police station Seema Puri.

Respondent nos. 2 to 5 submit that they had sustained simple injuries in the incident. They have now settled the matter with petitioners of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, vide a Memorandum of Understanding dated 8th January, 2019. Respondent nos. 2 to 5 submit that they have no objection in case FIR no. 768/2014 under

Sections 308/324/323/34 IPC registered at Police Station Seema Puri and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed against petitioner no. 1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 4. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 5 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
