By way of present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioner seeks setting aside of the proceedings initiated under Section 82 Cr.P.C. passed by the learned ASJ vide orders dated 18.10.2023 and 16.01.2024.

Notably, the respondent No.2 preferred the aforesaid Complaint Case No. 35/2021 under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 and on conclusion of trial, the petitioner was convicted. Petitioner preferred an appeal wherein the impugned orders came to be passed. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that in between, parties have been able to reach an amicable settlement of their disputes and the entire settlement amount has been paid.

Complainant/respondent No.2 is present in Court and has identified himself as Manmeet Kumar, proprietor of M/S Raj Kumar Electronics (India), E-4, Prajapati Market, Main Road, Dayalpur, Karawal Nagar Oppo. Govt. School, Delhi- 110094. He has handed over a copy of his gate pass and ID proof, which are taken on record. He confirms that he has settled the disputes with the petitioner as well as acknowledges the receipt of entire settled amount of Rs.11,25,000/- towards full and final settlement. 5.

Considering the aforesaid, the proceedings initiated under Section 82 Cr.P.C. are set aside.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms alongwith miscellaneous applications.
