CORAM:

HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE MUKTA GUPTA

O R D E R

% 14.01.2019 Crl.M.A.No.630/2019 Allowed subject to just exceptions.

W.P.(Crl.) No.89/2019 1.

By this petition, the petitioner seeks extension of parole on the ground that he has to file the Special Leave Petition and maintain social ties. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that since the Courts were closed, the SLP was not filed. Petitioner was granted three weeks' parole by the Government of NCT of Delhi vide communication dated 16th November, 2918 and he was released on 24th December, 2018 and has to surrender on 15th January, 2019. The petitioner was aware of the fact that when he was released on 24th December, 2018, till 1st January, 2019, the Supreme Court

was closed, thus he could have deferred his release. 3.

Thus, this Court finds no ground to extend the parole. 4.

Petition is dismissed.
