On 24.02.2026, the following order was passed: "1.
Through the present writ petition, the Petitioners have challenged order dated 22.08.2025 (hereafter 'impugned order'), passed in P.T. No. 132/2025 (Delhi), whereby the learned Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench transferred the subject O.A. to the Jaipur Bench.

The learned counsel representing the Petitioners inter alia contends that the learned Principal Bench has erred in transferring the case to the Jaipur Bench without appreciating that the Respondents are indulging in forum shopping. 3.
He submits that after the judgment passed by the Principal Bench was set aside by this Court in Staff Selection Commission & Ors. v. Ruby & Ors.: 2025:DHC:1680-DB on 17.03.2025, the Respondents filed the application to transfer the matter because the jurisdictional High Court had taken a particular view. He submits that the judgment of this Court was upheld by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Ruby v. Staff Selection Commission & Ors. in SLP(C) Nos. 19604-19605/2025 on 28.07.2025.

He further submits that the Respondents while filing the Original Application before the Principal Bench claimed that the territorial jurisdiction lies with the said Bench, and after detailed examination on an earlier occasion, even the Principal Bench had held that it had territorial jurisdiction.

Notice of motion.

Mr. Anoop Kumar, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of all the Respondents. He will file Power of Attorney on behalf of all the Respondents within next two working days.

List for final disposal in the "supplementary list" on 27.02.2026.

In the meantime, the operation and effect of the impugned order shall remain stayed."

Learned counsel representing the Respondents submit that he has no objection if the impugned order transferring the petition from Principal Bench to Jaipur Bench of Central Administrative Tribunal ('CAT') is set aside.

Keeping in view the aforesaid submission, the impugned order is set aside with the consent of learned counsel representing the Parties.

At this stage, learned counsel representing the Respondents submits that a direction should be issued to the Principal Bench to decide the original application expeditiously. 5.
In absence of complete information with regard to the total number of cases pending before the concerned Bench, it would not be appropriate to issue such a direction.
6.
However, liberty is granted to the Respondents to file an appropriate application for taking up their case expeditiously, which is requested to be considered sympathetically by the Bench. 7.
It is expected that the Principal Bench would make a sincere endeavour for expeditious disposal of the matter. 8.
The Parties through their Counsel are directed to appear before Principal Bench, CAT on 10.04.2026.

The present petition along with the pending applications is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
