O R D E R

% 14.01.2019 Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Devi Lal of police station Maurya Enclave. Respondent no.2 says that he has settled the matter with petitioners of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and has no objection in case the FIR No.163/2017 under Sections 308/34 IPC is quashed. It is noted that respondent no.2 and petitioners are related to each other.

A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issue wherein respondent no.2 had sustained simple injuries. It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 have amicably settled the matter vide Compromise Deed dated 02.11.2018, therefore, aforesaid FIR may be quashed.

Keeping in mind that petitioners and respondent no.2 are related to each other and have amicably settled their disputes in order to maintain harmonious relations with each other, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the present criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
