None is present on behalf of the Respondent/Complainant. On the previous date i.e. 07.04.2025, learned Counsel for the Respondent had submitted that the matter could be settled if the additional cost incurred by the Respondent, in pursuing the pleadings, was compensated. It was agreed that on payment of additional amount of Rs.50,000/-, the matter may be disposed of as settled.

Considering that the matter under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, has been settled, the Petitioner herein is directed to deposit the Demand Draft bearing No. 026462, dated 11.04.2025, drawn on HDFC Bank, Jankapuri, New Delhi, for a sum of Rs.50,000/- in favour of Jitendra Rajput, before the learned Registrar General, who shall converted it into an FDR, in auto renewal mode. The Respondent is at liberty to withdraw the amount. The Judgment dated 06.11.2023 is hereby set-aside, in view of the settlement and the Petitioner stands acquitted.
