Present appeal has been filed under Section 37 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

The appellant herein has suffered an award dated 18th December, 2009 for Rs. 8,41,388.49.

The present appeal is already fixed for further hearing on 20th September, 2024 but an application has been moved seeking withdrawal of the present appeal, as the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and in terms of settlement dated 3rd September, 2024 the appellant has already given a cheque for a sum of Rs. 3 lacs to the claimant/respondent towards full and final settlement of the disputes between the parties and towards satisfaction of the award in question. is accompanied by authorised representative of respondent company. 4.
The copy of the settlement terms is also placed on record and during course of the consideration of the matter today, the respondent has also claimed that the award stands satisfied and, therefore, nothing is now due and outstanding from the appellant herein with respect to the award in question. 5.
In view of the above, the present appeal is disposed of in terms of settlement dated 3rd September, 2024.
