% 30.01.2018 Vide the present petition, the petitioner has prayed for a direction to the respondent to include his name in the seniority list published and lastly updated on 09.02.2017 for consideration of his cases for allotment of alternative plot on basis of his initial application which was made in 1989.
On the last date of hearing, Ms. Jyoti Tyagi, learned counsel for the respondent, who was appearing on advance notice was directed to get instructions as to why the petitioner's name was missing from the relevant seniority list. Today, upon instructions, she submits that the respondents are prepared to consider the claim of the petitioner on basis of the application and other connected documents submitted by him. She further submits that upon verification of the petitoner's documents an appropriate seniority number will be allotted to him and
his name would be accordingly placed in the seniority list. In view of the aforesaid statement made by the learned counsel for the respondent, the learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the petition any further but prays that the respondent may directed to carry out the said exercise in a time bound manner. Considering the facts of the case, the respondent is directed to pass orders for allotting an appropriate seniority number to the petitioner within a period of four months and thereafter include his name in the seniority list, as and when, the same is updated.
