Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Ms. Shobhana Takiar, learned Standing Counsel representing the Delhi Development Authority ("DDA").

By instituting this Petition purportedly in Public Interest, a direction has been sought to demolish / remove the alleged unauthorized structure commonly known as Noori Masjid and further to develop the land for its designated purpose, i.e., as a Local Shopping Complex. 3.

The learned Counsel representing the DDA renders an order passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court on 06.11.2025 in W.P.(C) 14454/2025, which is filed by the Masjid Noori Jamia Arabia Nurululoom and Welfare Society. In the said order, the learned Single Judge has noticed the statement made on behalf of the DDA that the subject matter of the said writ petition (which is the subject matter of the instant Petition as well) has been referred to a Religious Committee on 05.04.2025 and further the proceedings are pending and as of now, there are no recommendations by the Religious Committee for taking any action against the property in question, i.e., Noori Masjid.

The learned Counsel representing the DDA also submitted before the learned Single Judge, which stands recorded in the order dated 06.11.2025, that no action shall be taken by the DDA till the matter is pending before the Religious Committee.

The learned Single Judge noticed the aforesaid statements and disposed of the said writ petition with certain direction provided therein that the requisite action shall be taken by the DDA only if any recommendation The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

is made by the Religious Committee that too, after issuance of the requisite notice to the petitioner in the said writ petition. 6.

In view of the aforesaid order dated 06.11.2025 passed in W.P.(C) 14454/2025, nothing needs to be adjudicated any further in the present Petition, which is hereby disposed of. The pending Applications also stand disposed of.
