% 15.01.2019 Issue notice of the petition.

Mr. Amit Bansal, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

Petitioner's grievance is that though the imports were made through Bill of Entries on 21.11.2018 but till date, the goods have neither been released nor assessed. Learned counsel for the respondent, who appears on advance notice, states that the petitioner is not cooperating. It seems to the court that despite the entry of the goods into the country through the Bill of Entry almost three months ago, the respondents have not passed any formal order - either detaining the goods or to make any investigation, nor even proceeded

to assess the bills of entry. The respondents are directed to take appropriate action towards assessment/adjudication on the bills of entries within two weeks from today. The petitioner shall cooperate in the process of any inquiry/investigation in that regard. The petition is disposed of in the above terms. A copy of this order be given dasti under the signatures of Court Master.
