The present writ petition has been filed highlighting the inaction of the respondent/ Election Commission of India (ECI) in respect of the application for registration of a political party filed on behalf of the petitioner, who is the president of the proposed political party, on 7th February, 2025.

Mr. Sanjay Vashishtha, counsel appearing on behalf of respondent/ ECI on advance notice, submits that in response to the said application, a communication dated 10th September, 2025 has already been sent to the petitioner seeking certain information/ documents. 2.1 A copy of the same has been handed over to counsel for the petitioner. 3.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of while giving liberty to the petitioner to respond to the aforesaid communication.
