An additional affidavit dated 15.03.2019 has been filed by the respondent, Shri Arun Mehta, Advocate.

A perusal of the same reflects that the respondent, as expected from a professional of his calling, appeared before the concerned Judicial Officer on 15.03.2019, and tendered his sincere and unconditional apology to the latter, for his conduct in her Court on 12.10.2018. 3.

As reflected in paragraph 2 of the said affidavit dated 15.03.2019, the concerned Judicial Officer graciously appreciated the gesture of Shri Arun Mehta, Advocate and acknowledged her acceptance of his unconditional and sincere apology.

Shri Arun Mehta, Advocate, who is present in person before this Court states that he did not, in any manner, wish to compromise with the dignity of the judicial system and is remorseful for the unsavoury incident that occurred before the concerned Court on 12.10.2018 during the proceedings in the case of TDI International India Pvt. Ltd. v. Adventure Island Ltd., CS No.649/17.

In view of the foregoing, we accept the unconditional and unqualified apology tendered on behalf of Shri Arun Mehta, Advocate before this Court and discharge the show cause notice issued to him. 6.

The suo motu criminal contempt petition is disposed of in the above terms.
