% 15.01.2019 Notice. Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1. Respondent nos. 2 and 3, namely, Mr. Pankaj Kumar and Smt. Urmila Devi are present in Court and have been identified by SI Pankaj Kumar of Police Station Vasant Kunj (South). Respondent nos. 2 and 3 submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioner of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion vide Compromise Deed dated 12.11.2018. They state that they have no objection in case FIR No.373/2014 under Section 308 IPC registered at Police Station Vasant Kunj (South) and consequent proceedings are quashed.

Keeping in mind the fact that a quarrel ensued between the neighbours on some trivial matter, wherein injured persons sustained simple injuries and a compromise has been entered into between them, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings

pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
