O R D E R

% 22.03.2018 BAIL APPLN. 95/2018 1.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been incarcerated since 21.02.2015 and he would be satisfied in case directions are issued for time-bound disposal of the proceedings. 2.

In view of the above, the attention of the Court is drawn to order dated 09.11.2016 of this Court directing the Trial Court to make an endeavour to expedite the Trial.

Further, as the majority of the public witnesses have already been examined and only two public witnesses remain apart from formal witnesses and Police Officers, the Trial Court is directed to BAIL APPLN. 95/2018

expedite the recording of the prosecution witnesses and make an endeavour to conclude the same within a period of four months from the next date of hearing (i.e. 21.04.2018).

In view of the above directions, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition. 5.

The petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn with the above said directions.
