O R D E R

% 15.01.2019 The petitioner is aggrieved by what he considers inaction by the Delhi Police in investigation on his complaint. This petition shall be treated as a representation by the DCP of the Economic Offences Wing (EOW). The learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State submits that the case has since been transferred to the Police Station, Janakpuri for appropriate action since the quantum involved was Rs. 2 crores. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been duped for an amount of Rs. 2.7 crores, therefore, the EOW would have jurisdiction to look into the complaint.

In view of the above, the petition shall be considered by the DCP of EOW. The petitioner shall appear before him on 18.01.2019 in the forenoon. The petitioner shall be intimated of such action, as may be taken, within four weeks thereof.

The petition stands disposed-off in the above terms. A copy of this order be given dasti to the learned counsel for the parties under the signature of the Court Master. NAJMI WAZIRI, J JANUARY 15, 2019 RW
