% 24.11.2017 It is not in dispute that matter has been settled between the appellant and respondent (complainant) before the Lok Adalat, inasmuch as, settled amount has already been paid. Accordingly, offence under Section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act, 2003 is permitted to be compounded and appellant is acquitted.

Appeal is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
