The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying as under:- "Issue a Writ of mandamus or any other Writ, Direction or Order directing the Respondent to consider the application dated 26.05.2018 and 20.06.2018 filed by the Petitioner No.1 for grant of Registration as a Multi-System Operator under the provision of the Cable Television Network (Regulation) Act, 1995 and the Cable Television

Networks Rules, 1994 and grant such Registration in favour of the Petitioner:"

Petitioner no.1 had applied for a licence to operate a Multi System Operation (MSO) Licence on 26.05.2018. It is stated that he had also deposited the requisite fee of ₹1,00,000/- along with the said application. The petitioner's grievance is that the said application has not been processed as yet.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondent states that the petitioner's application would be processed within a period of four weeks from today. The respondent is bound down to the same. In view of the aforesaid statement, no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition.

The petition is disposed of. Pending application, if any, also stands disposed of.
