The present petition has been filed by the Petitioner who is an Indian citizen who went to Malaysia on 3rd May, 2024. She states that she was wearing gold bangles weighing 450 grams during her travel and in Malaysia she had sold the same and obtained two gold pieces which were detained when she returned to India on 9th May, 2024. Show cause notice has already been issued in this matter on 6th November, 2024. The case of the Petitioner is that the show cause notice was issued belatedly.

Considering the nature of the matter, the Petitioner shall file a reply to the show cause notice and take all objections.
