The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that the appeal preferred by the petitioner captioned 'Karan Singh & Anr. v. Smt. Ram Mukhi & Ors': RCA Appeal No.07/2017 be transferred from the Court of learned ADJ, North-East District, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi to the competent court of North-East District, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner points out that the said appeal has been preferred against a judgment dated 25.11.2016 pronounced by the learned Civil Judge (East), Karkardooma Courts, Delhi, and, therefore, the petitioner had filed an appeal before the learned ADJ, East District, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi.

He states that the concerned court has opined that the appeal ought to have been filed before the concerned court, North-East District, since in terms of the Notification dated 22.10.2008, the jurisdiction has been divided into nine Districts. And, the

property in question falls within the jurisdiction of the District Court (NorthEast) 3.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondent has not opposed the said prayer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed and the appeal in question (RCA Appeal No.07/2017: Karan Singh & Anr. v. Smt. Ram Mukhi & Ors.) is transferred to the District Court (North-East District), Karkardooma Court complex. The parties are directed to appear before the concerned court on 01.08.2019.
