Ms. Vasundhara Nayyar accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.
Learned counsel for the respondents says that she does not wish to file a reply to the captioned petition as the prayer made therein is not opposed. 5.
The record shows that this Court appointed an Arbitrator on 18.11.2016. The learned Arbitrator entered upon reference on 17.01.2017. 6.
Since, parties felt that the arbitration proceedings would not conclude within the statutory period of 12 months, based on mutual agreement, time for concluding arbitration proceedings was extended by another period of 6 months.

It appears that, thereafter, a petition was filed in this Court by the respondent being OMP (Misc.) (COMM) 210/2018, whereby further extension of 6 months was sought.

The extended time has come to an end on 02.01.2019. 9.
I am informed by counsel for the parties that matter is at the stage of arguments.

Having regard to the time and money invested by the parties, I am inclined to grant extension of time. Accordingly, the time for rendering an award is extended by another four (4) months, commencing from 02.01.2019.
