By way of the present application, the applicant/respondent seeks disposal of the present petition in terms of the Settlement Agreement dated 12.05.2026 arrived at between the parties before Samadhan, Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre.

Learned counsels appearing for the parties submit that in terms of the aforesaid settlement agreement, the petitioner has agreed that the amount of Rs. 2,42,654/-, lying deposited with the Registrar General of this Court be released to the respondent along with accrued interest thereupon. 3.

In view of the aforesaid, the application is allowed and the present petition is disposed of accordingly.

The settlement agreement is taken on record and the parties are directed to remain bound by the terms of the settlement agreement. 5.
