Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1.

Respondent no.2 Ms. Ranjana is present in Court and accepts notice. She has been identified by SI Babu Lal of police station Okhla Industrial Area. It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no. 2 are related to each other. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issues, which led to registration of cross FIRs.

With the interventions of elders in the family, petitioners and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably;

therefore, FIR no. 523/2018 under Sections 323/354/506/34 IPC registered at police station Okhla Industrial Area and

consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed. It is further submitted that petition for quashing of cross FIR no. 522/2018 under Sections 323/354/506/34 IPC registered at police station Okhla Industrial Area is also listed today and has been allowed in view of the compromise. Respondent no. 2 admits having settled the matter with petitioners of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and she has no objection in case aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed against the petitioners. Affidavit of respondent no. 2 has also been filed along with this petition. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR registered at police station Okhla Industrial Area and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
