Applicant seeks regular bail in FIR No. 260/2022 dated 11.11.2022, registered at P.S. Crime Branch, Delhi, for commission of offences under Sections 274/275/276/420/468/471/120B/34 of IPC. 2.

The applicant was arrested on 11.11.2022 and is in custody since then. 3.

It is contended that the maximum sentence provided for the offence in question is seven years, and the applicant is on the verge of completing half of such period.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that though, when he had filed an application under Section 483 BNSS before the learned Trial Court seeking bail, he had not suppressed any fact. He submits that release in terms of provision contained under Section 479 of BNSS was also sought. Fact, however, remains that the order dated 20.12.2025 does not discuss the bail on aspect of Section 479 BNSS.

After some arguments, learned counsel for the applicant, without prejudice to his rights and contentions, does not press the present application. He, however, seeks liberty to file fresh application before the learned Trial Court seeking bail under Section 479 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS).

The application stands disposed of in aforesaid terms. 7.

Pending application also stand disposed of.

As and when any such application is filed, learned Trial Court shall consider the same in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the both sides and without being influenced by its dated 20.12.2025.

Learned Trial Court is also requested to expedite the ascertainment of charges. Needless to say, prosecution would provide requisite cooperation and assistance to the learned Trial Court in this regard.
