The petitioner is seeking initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondent for committing wilful disobedience of the directions of this Court dated 27.03.2019. It appears that despite sending repeated notices, no one is appearing for the respondent. 2.
Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and on perusal of the record, it appears that a direction had been passed by this Court vide aforesaid order to the respondent to deposit the arrears @ Rs.3,000/- per month w.e.f. March 2019 till the pendency of the Eviction Petition bearing RCR 14/2016 and pay the future rent at such rate on or before 7th of each succeeding calendar month. 3.
Apparently, the respondent/claimant has defaulted in making the payment of rent and in the meanwhile, the possession of the premises has been re-claimed by the petitioner/landlord. 4.
