% 18.01.2019 It is submitted that respondent no.2 is wife of respondent no.3. It is submitted that petitioner and respondent nos. 2 and 3 are neighbours.

A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issue wherein respondent nos. 2 and 3 had sustained simple injuries. This incident had led to registration of FIR No.

170/2013 under Sections 354A/323/452/34 IPC against the petitioner at police station Subhash Palace, on the complaint of respondent no.2.

It is submitted that petitioner and respondent nos. 2 and 3 have amicably settled the matter vide Compromise Deed dated 26.11.2018,

therefore, aforesaid FIR may be quashed.

Respondent nos. 2 and 3 are present in Court and have been identified by SI Sachin of police station Subhash Place. The respondents submit that they have settled the matter with petitioner of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and have no objection in case the aforesaid FIR is quashed. Affidavits of respondent nos. 2 and 3 are also on record to this effect.

Keeping in mind that petitioner and respondent nos. 2 and 3 are neighbours and they have amicably settled their disputes in order to maintain harmonious relations with each other, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the present criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
