Petitioner seeks initiation of contempt proceedings against respondents for wilful disobedience of specific directions contained in order dated 23.07.2024 passed by learned Division Bench in W.P. (C) No. 10051/2024. 2.

As per specific directions contained therein, respondents were directed to decide the representation dated 22.05.2024 of the petitioners within eight weeks by passing a reasoned and speaking order. 3.

Learned counsel for respondents appears on advance notice and submits that in order to take appropriate decision and in order to ensure that order in question was a reasoned and speaking one, they have sought legal opinion from the Ministry of Law & Justice and also certain directions from Ministry of Home Affairs/Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT). 4.

case, the representation shall be decided within a period of four weeks from today and the outcome thereof shall also be duly communicated to the petitioners.

In view of the aforesaid assurance given by learned counsel for respondents, Ms. Saahila Lamba, learned counsel for petitioners, at the moment, does not press her present contempt petition. She, however, seeks liberty to revive the same by moving appropriate application, in case nothing is done within the period as undertaken above. 6.

Petition stands disposed of as not pressed.

Liberty, as prayed, is granted.
