BAIL APPLN. 123/2019 By this petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 446/2018 under Section 376/354(D)/506 IPC registered at Police Station Moti Nagar.

Learned APP for the State accepts notice. Status report has been handed over, which is taken on record. The allegations of the complainant in the FIR are that she knew the petitioner since 2012 and they were in relationship, and it is only later on that she came to know that the petitioner was married and when she wanted to separate from the petitioner, he did not want to leave her and threatened to disclose all the facts to her family members compelling her to continue in relationship with him. The petitioner broke many of her alliances for marriage. The prosecutrix was scared that her marriage is now fixed for 15th December, 2019 and the petitioner does not want her to get married thus he was threatening her to send videos and photos to all including her fiancé. Learned APP for the State has shown to this Court an email sent by the petitioner to the prosecutrix dated November 26, 2018 at 12.09. p.m., in which he threatened to show the videos to the family members including the fiancé.

Considering the conduct of the petitioner in threatening the prosecutrix due to which she was also compelled to make a statement that she does not wish to pursue the complaint, this Court finds no ground to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The petition is dismissed.
