Petitioner seeks quashing of case FIR No. 44/2023 of PS Gandhi Nagar for offence under Section 420/467/468/471/120B IPC on the ground that complainant de facto (respondent no.2) has settled the disputes with the petitioner.

Learned APP accepts notice. Respondent no.2 identified by Io/SI Vivek accepts notice.

Learned APP points out that the offence involved in the present case is not just cheating the respondent no.2 but also forgery of stamps/seals of the office of the Sub-Registrar.

After addressing partly, learned counsel for petitioner on instructions seeks permission to withdraw this petition so that the petitioner may face trial.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
