Petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed for extension of the Mandate of the learned Arbitrator by 6 months.

It is submitted in the application that the learned Arbitrator was appointed vide Order dated 27.04.2019 and the substitute Arbitrator was appointed on 23.10.2019.

The evidence of the petitioner started on 12.04.2022. The evidence of both the parties are completed.

The first extension of 8 months was given on 25.11.2022. 5.

On 20.12.2022, the learned Arbitrator recused from hearing of the matter and on 04.07.2023, the new Arbitrator was appointed and was also given an extension of 6 months. The parties submit that the matter has been reserved for Judgment. 7.
