By way of this petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ["the Act"], the petitioner seeks an extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal which is in seisin of disputes between the parties, arising out of a work order dated 18.08.2018, pursuant to a judgement dated 29.07.2021 in ARB.P. 632/2021. 2.

By order dated 04.09.2023 in O.M.P. (MISC.)(COMM) 345/2023, the Tribunal's mandate was extended till 29.02.2024. Ms. Mayuri Raghuvanshi, learned counsel, enters appearance on behalf of the respondent on advance notice, and submits that the respondent has no objection to the relief sought but the contentions may not be taken as admitted.

I am informed that the proceedings before the learned arbitrator are at the stage of final hearing, and consideration of some applications. 5.

With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the petition is allowed, and the mandate of the learned Arbitral Tribunal is extended till 31.08.2024.
