HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE NEENA BANSAL KRISHNA
O R D E R
% 21.01.2025 1.
Petitions under Article 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C has been filed for quashing of FIR No.10/2018 dated 25.01.2018 under Section 420/406/34 IPC P.S. Barakhamba Road. 2.
It is submitted that the matter has been amicably settled with Respondent No.2 and 3 and the FIR may be consequently quashed. 3.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of Respondent No.2 and 3 confirms that the matter viz a viz them has been settled with the Petitioners. 4.
Learned Addl. Standing Counsel on behalf of the State submits that though in the Status Report it has been recorded that the matter has been settled with 24 victims, but because 22 of them are not on record, it would be more appropriate for the Petitioner to seek the compounding before the learned Trial Court as the offences are compoundable. 5.
In view of the submissions made, the Petition is disposed of with liberty to the Petitioner to seek the compounding before the learned Trial Court.
6.
Needless to say if there is any fresh grievance, the Petitioners are at liberty to approach this Court.
