Counsel for respondent No. 1/North DMC and respondents 2, 3 and 4 (District Administration and Police) accept notice. The petitioner's grievance is that back in 1951 a pond existed in a portion of Khasra No. 1509 in the Revenue Village of Basidarapur, Bandarwali Khui, New Delhi; that the said pond has been encroached upon and illegal construction has been raised on that land by some persons.
The petitioner has made a representation dated 07.01.2019 to the concerned authorities in this regard and the authorities are yet to consider such representation.
In view of the foregoing, this petition is disposed of with the direction that the concerned authorities, namely respondents Nos. 2 and 3 shall consider the present petition as a representation on behalf of the petitioner within a period of two months from today. Thereafter, if warranted by law, the concerned respondent/s shall take action against any violations of the law.
The present petition is disposed of in the above terms, giving liberty to the petitioner to adopt further remedies in accordance with law, if so advised.
