O R D E R

% 25.07.2019 The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayers:

"In the facts and circumstances of the case it is most humbly and respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to:

A. Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ directing the Respondent to allow the Petitioner to inspect his evaluated answer scripts of LL.B semester exams as requested under the Right to Information Act, 2005.

B. Impose punitive cost against the Respondent for steadfastly violating the letter and spirit of the Right to Information Act and for wilfully and intentionally not complying with the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in CBSE & Anr. V. Aditya Bandhopadhyay & Ors. [(2011) 8 SCC497].

C. Pass any such orders and directions as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstance of this case and in the interest of justice." On March 12, 2019, this Court on a submission made by the petitioner

who appears in person had passed the following order: "The only submission made by the petitioner who appears in person is that he would be satisfied if the answer sheets of 26 papers of different semesters are provided to him for inspection.

Mr. Mohinder J.S. Rupal, learned counsel appearing for the respondent seeks some to time to take instructions in that regard."

Mr. Mohinder J.S. Rupal, learned counsel appearing for the respondent has taken instructions from the Officers of the University who have agreed to allow the petitioner to inspect the answer sheets of 26 papers of different Semesters, as stated by him in his RTI application dated June 22, 2018, subject to the petitioner paying the charges in terms of the provisions of the RTI Act.

In view of the submission made by Mr. Rupal, petitioner states, petition be disposed of by fixing a time period within which the respondent shall offer the papers for inspection. Ordered accordingly. Respondent shall offer the 26 papers of different Semesters to the petitioner for inspection on August 8, 2019 and August 9, 2019 provided the petitioner deposits the charges for inspection on or before August 3, 2019. The petition stands disposed of.
