A demand draft, bearing No.350682 dated 13.5.2019 for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- has been handed over by the petitioners to the respondent.

Learned counsel for the parties submitted that, in view of the settlement, a total payment of Rs.10,29,000/- has been made by the petitioners to the respondent and the respondent has no objection in case an application for compounding the offences is filed before the Trial Court. Learned counsel for the parties, now, submitted that they shall move a joint application before the Trial Court on 2.8.2019 for the compounding of the offences in the matter.

The Trial Court, in view of the payment made in terms of the settlement between the parties, is directed to consider the application for compounding of the offence(s) as per law.

In view of the aforesaid facts, learned counsel for the petitioners seek permission to withdraw the petition. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Pending application is also dismissed.
