The Petitioner has approached this Court with the following prayer:- "a. Direct the Respondent to refund the e-stamp duty bearing No. INDL6399400446947T and registration fee in the name of the petitioner."

Learned Counsel for the Respondent states that till now they have not received any representation from the Petitioner regarding refund of the estamp duty. 3.

Material on record indicates that the stamp duty was purchased for the purpose of execution of gift deed 17.12.2021 in favour of the Petitioner but The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. before the gift deed could be executed, the donor passed away. Therefore, the Petitioner claims for refund of the stamp duty purchased for the purpose of the said gift deed.

In view of the statement made by learned Counsel for the Respondent, let this writ petition be treated as a representation for refund of the stamp duty and the same be decided within six weeks. 5.

The petition is disposed of along with pending application(s), if any. 6.

Liberty is granted to the Petitioner to approach this Court if the representation is not disposed of within six weeks or if the request for refund of the stamp duty is rejected by the Respondents.
