The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 CrPC seeking direction to the respondent for grant of parole for three months to the petitioner to attend the wedding of his niece Ms. Komal which is scheduled for 12.03.2024, as well as, for the purpose of restoring social ties with his parents and family. 4.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the application seeking grant of parole was made as early as on 29.01.2024, but till date the same has not been decided.

In view of the above issue notice. The learned ASC for the State accepts notice.

application for grant of parole is to be disposed of within a period of four weeks and the said period has still not elapsed, therefore, the present petition is pre-mature.

He further submits that the application of the petitioner shall be disposed within a period of ten days from today. 8.

In view of the above, the respondent is directed to dispose of the application of the petitioner seeking parole (Annexure-D), within a period of ten days from today.
