By this petition, the petitioner seeks parole to maintain social ties and also challenges the order dated 2nd November, 2018 whereby his application seeking parole was rejected on the ground that he has already availed one month's parole six months back and two weeks' furlough and an order of furlough had been passed which the petitioner could avail. 2.

A perusal of the nominal roll reveals that the petitioner has already availed the furlough granted to him with effect from 2nd November, 2018 and surrendered on 17th November, 2018.

In view of the fact that the petitioner has already been released on furlough though not on parole, this Court finds no ground to grant parole to W.P.(CRL) 141/2019

the petitioner as the time period available during furlough was sufficient to re-establish social ties.

Petition is dismissed.

Copy of this order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Tihar Jail.
