The present petition under Article 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India seeks the following prayers:

"I. Writ, Order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS or any other appropriate writ, order or direction in favour of the petitioner, thereby directing the fast track and time bound trial of the FIR No. 144/2022, PS Crime Branch, SW Dwarka, New Delhi .

II. Writ, Order or direction in the nature of PROHIBITION or any other appropriate writ, order or direction in favour of the petitioner, thereby restraining the IO of the case from extracting "Self Incriminatory" evidence from the Petitioner under the garb of investigation of the FIR No. 144/2022, Ps Crime Branch, SW Dwarka, New Delhi.

Any other order which the Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the present case be also passed in favour of the petitioner."

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner does not press prayer (II) at this stage.

So far as prayer (I) is concerned, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State, on instructions of the Investigating Officer, submits that the investigation in the present case is near completion and the report under Section 173 of the Cr.P.C. shall be filed before the learned Trial Court within 06 weeks from today.

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner, without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the latter, seeks leave to withdraw the present petition.

Leave granted.

The present petition is dismissed as withdrawn and disposed of accordingly.
