The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent no.1/MCD to remove illegal construction on public land as shown in the site plan (Annexure C to the writ petition), at the rear portion of the property bearing no.8/8 Singh Sabha Road, Block- 40, behind Amba Cinema Shakti Nagar Delhi-110007.

Status report has been handed over on behalf of the respondent no.1/MCD wherein it is stated that MCD inspected the subject premises, encroachment removal programme with the assistance of the Police was carried out on 13th April, 2026 and the encroachment was removed. Photographs of the said action have been filed along with the said status report.
