% 22.01.2018 Respondent No. 2 Ms. Poonam Yadav is present in Court along with her counsel. Respondent No. 2 says that he has settled the matter with the petitioner No.1 of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion vide memorandum of understanding-cum-settlement dated 09.10.2017. First motion has already been accepted. Respondent No. 2 says that she has already received a sum of `10 lacs from the petitioner No.1. Petitioner No.1 says that the remaining balance sum of ` 10 lacs will be paid at the time of second motion. Respondent No. 2 says that she has no objection in case FIR against the petitioner No.1 and his relatives, i.e., petitioner Nos. 2-5, is quashed subject to the petitioner No.1 cooperating at the time of second motion and paying the balance settled amount of ` 10 lacs to her.

In view of the settlement arrived at between the petitioner No.1

and the respondent No.2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 197/2017 under Sections498A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Samai Pur Badli is quashed, subject to the petitioner No.1 paying the balance settled amount of ` 10 lacs at the time of second motion.
