On instructions, learned ASC for the State submits that no distress call has been received from the petitioners till date. 2.

Petitioners, who appear through video conferencing state that they are still in apprehension of threat from the accused persons, therefore, are not appearing before the Court physically and have prayed for protection of their life.

This Court has heard the submissions on behalf of petitioners as well as the State.

fact that petitioners have prayed for protection of their life as they are apprehending threat from accused persons, petitioners are directed to provide their mobile number to the Investigating Officer and SHO. Similarly, the mobile numbers of concerned IO, SHO and beat constable be also shared with the petitioners.

The officials of concerned Police Station including SHO are directed to provide adequate protection to the petitioners from accused persons, in case such circumstances arise.

Petitioners state that they are satisfied with the aforesaid arrangement. 7.

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of in above terms.
