% 27.02.2026 1.

By way of the present petition, the petitioners seek quashing of the FIR bearing No. 1115/2015, registered at Police Station Bindapur, Delhi, for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 342/354B/323/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter 'IPC'). 2.

disputes and issues had arisen between the petitioners and the respondent no.

2. Upon the complaint by respondent no. 2, the present FIR came to be registered against the petitioners. It is stated that with intervention of the family and friends, the parties have now amicably settled their dispute and petitioner no.6 and respondent no.2 are now living together peacefully. It is stated that respondent no.2 in her statement during chief-examination before the learned Trial Court had stated that presently she is residing with her husband peacefully and there is no dispute between the petitioners and her and she does not want to pursue the present case. 5.

On a query made by this Court, respondent nos. 2 to 4 who have been identified by the IO, have categorically stated that they have entered into compromise out of their own free will and without any pressure, coercion or threat. It is also stated that they have been living together peacefully. Therefore, they have no objection if the present FIR is quashed. 6.

In view of the above, that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will, and without any coercion, no useful purpose will be served by continuing the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. It would thus be in interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question. 7.

Accordingly, FIR bearing No. 1115/2015, registered at Police Station Bindapur, Delhi, for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 342/354B/323/34 of IPC and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
