O R D E R

% 16.03.2017 By this petition, petitioner seeks parole on the ground of maintaining social ties with the family and also to blend himself in the main stream of society. Address of the petitioner has been verified. A perusal of nominal roll shows that petitioner is in incarceration for the past 8 years. Learned ASC for the State submits that petitioner was released on furlough in the month of May/June, 2016 when petitioner did not surrender in jail in time and, in fact, surrendered late by 10 days. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner could not surrender himself in time as he was suffering from high fever. He has placed on record photocopy of medical certificate. It is also reflected from the nominal roll that on earlier two occasions

petitioner was released on furlough and he surrendered in time. Keeping in mind totality of the circumstances, it is ordered that petitioner be released on parole for a period of four weeks from the date of his release, subject to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of `10,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent. During the parole period, petitioner shall report to the SHO of police station Nangloi once in a week, i.e., on Mondays at 10:00 am. After expiry of parole period petitioner shall surrender before the Jail Superintendent. Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Copy of the order be sent to the Jail Superintendent for serving it on the petitioner and also for compliance.
