The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to respondent nos. 1 and 2 (State and the SHO) to register an FIR against respondent nos. 3 to 6 for committing offences of conspiracy, kidnapping, abduction, rape, threat to life and property against the victim Nisha, petitioner and her family members. 2.

It is the petitioner's case that respondent no.3 (Bobby) has abducted his daughter Nisha.

Mr Rahul Mehra, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State submits that due enquiries were made and it was found that the petitioner's daughter is aged about 25 years and is voluntarily staying with respondent no.3 (Bobby). A status report has been filed which indicates that an inquiry was also made about various messages on Whatsapp, SMS and Facebook

against respondent no.3. In view of the said report, it is also stated that an NCR No. 0046/2019 dated 23.03.2019 has already been filed in P.S. Uttam Nagar.

It is seen that a written complaint had been received at P.S. Uttam Nagar from the petitioner's daughter (who claims to be married to respondent no.3) claiming that she and her in-laws had received threats from the petitioner and his family.

In view of the results of the inquiries carried out by respondent nos. 1 and 2, this Court finds that the prayers made by the petitioner are unmerited. 6.

The petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
