The petitioner has filed the present petition impugning an order dated 01.01.2019, passed by the District Magistrate under Rule 22 (3) of the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2009, whereby the petitioner is directed to vacate the premises in question. The petitioner has an efficacious alternate remedy by filing an appeal before the Divisional Magistrate under Rule 22 (3) (4) of the aforesaid rules. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to avail of the alternate remedies.
